Setting Up Authorize .NET to Accept Credit Cards

Authorize .NET is a payment gateway that allows you to integrate your current merchant account with DogBizPro. If you do not have an Authorize .NET account, you can apply for one by clicking here: Authorize.net

Once you have your account you need to gather the following information: API Login ID, Transaction Key. These can be obtained by logging into your Authorize .NET account and going to Account -> API Login ID and Transaction Key. You should also set your MD5 hash value. You can do so by going to Account -> MD5-Hash. Here you can enter any combination of letters and numbers.

Once you have all of these pieces of information you can login to DogBizPro and go to the Admin module-->Setup-->Online Registration-->Configuration page. There you can enter the above information.

If you are ready to start processing payment from your clients you need to make sure you have Test Mode set to False. You can also choose if you want to run your transactions through in "Authorize & Capture" or "Authorize Only". Authorize & Capture will verify their card information and actually collect the funds at the time of checkout. Authorize Only will only verify their card information and you will have to login to your Authorize .NET account later to capture the funds.

The Invoice Description is what will be on the Authorize .NET invoice and receipt.

The Seal Code is optional and allows you to post the code for the verification seal from your Authorize .NET account so the seal will show to your clients on the checkout page.

Once you have everything entered, be sure to click the Save button to save your changes.
